Parental concerns about immunity
According to a recent global survey, 59% of parents are concerned about their infant’s immune health, which means supporting immunity is the number 1 priority for parents of 0-1 year olds.
Parents talking immunity
We know immune health is all-important to parents. But what does that mean, day-to-day? We asked Candy, mother of 1 year-old Isabel, why immunity matters to her.
Immune symptoms occur most often
In our recent survey, we found that parents around the globe are mostly concerned with immune-related symptoms, such as diarrhoea and common colds. What’s more, 59% of parents around the globe take the immune health of their child into account when purchasing infant milk formula. As such, solutions that could support lowering infection risk are well-positioned to capture their interest.
Immune-associated ingredients
Iron, prebiotics[1], magnesium, probiotics[2] and human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs): meet the ingredients that most parents of 0-1 year olds put their trust in to positively impact immunity. It’s these star ingredients that attract parent attention, which means they’re important to include when positioning infant nutrition products with an immunity related claim.
