How to address micronutrient deficiencies in young Asian children?

Micronutrient deficiencies are a major cause of concern worldwide, but especially here in Asia. With around half of under 5s in the region suffering from at least one micronutrient deficiency1, the race is on to find a solution.

Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) could help. They’ve been found to increase iron absorption by 62% in infants2 and improve calcium absorption by 13% in 10-13 year old girls3. Proven effective, and successfully included in many infant milk formula products, GOS could be instrumental in addressing early life mineral deficiencies in Asia.
