The conference focused on the themes of new markets, new product development an new energy sources. From innovation and integration, to the new and old models and challenges of the industry, the focus of special foods to facilitate healthy lifestyle, entrepreneurship and social responsibility were discussed.
Through continuous efforts over the past four years, a platform for the joint development of special foods has been established, demonstrating and promoting the progress of China’s special food industry.
Within Foods for Special Medical Purpose session, Marieke Schoemaker, Senior Nutritionist from FrieslandCampina Ingredients, delivered a speech on “Making patients fit for surgery: nutrition set to assist post-surgery recovery in rehabilitation program”.
At the conference, activities of 14 trendy industrial themes were held, such as healthy food, food for special medical purpose, infant formula and supplements.
